What It Is

Native messaging on iPhone — not another app download

Apple Messages for Business (formerly Business Chat) lets customers message brands inside the Messages app. Conversations support rich links, list pickers, time pickers, authentication, and Apple Pay — without forcing a separate download.

Brands go live through an Apple-approved Messaging Service Provider (MSP), register in Apple Business Register, and pass Apple’s Experience Review. Entry points include websites, apps, Maps, and conversation URLs on bcrw.apple.com.
